My name is Daniel, I am 12 years old, and I have been programming (properly) for about 2 years now.
I make video games with the Unity Engine and also automate stuff with Python.
I got into programming ages ago, when I was looking at images of cats, and saw the scratch logo, clicked on it, and spent almost 3 years trying to get good. I loved it, but soon enough, I wanted to domore. I wanted my games to be more advanced, able to be put on an app store, maybe even 3D! I spent a few days researching, until I made a decision. I was going to learn Python. It was a little scary at first; all the weird key words and classes, but I soon got to grips with the language.
After all of that programming in Python, I kind of got annoyed of making games with Pygame. I felt a little restricted. So I started Unity. So, after 6 months now, here I am.
